A Neighborhood Shop
The Analog Stationer is a neighborhood stationery shop built around slowing down, touching things, and choosing tools that make daily life more intentional. It’s a place to test pens, feel paper, ask questions, and linger. A shop that values curiosity, community, and well-made materials over speed or scale.
We believe that small, local shops still matter. That shopping can be personal. That the experience of choosing something thoughtfully is just as important as the thing itself. The Analog Stationer exists to bring back a feeling many of us miss: the intimacy of neighborhood stores, where you’re welcome to take your time and where being known matters.
Meet Chaya
I’m Chaya, the founder of The Analog Stationer. I built this shop to bring back a feeling I grew up with and never wanted to lose.
I grew up in Crown Heights, on a main street lined with small businesses where everyone knew each other. On my corner was a small stationery store called Popack’s. My friends and I would stop in after school just to test Parker pens. That simple ritual stayed with me.
When I opened The Analog Stationer, I wanted to recreate that feeling. A neighborhood place where you can linger, touch things, ask questions, and enjoy the quiet joy of well-made tools. I’ve always loved stationery and the tactile pleasure of writing things down. Pens, notebooks, paper. Simple objects that help us think, organize our lives, and stay connected to ourselves and each other.
